Road Trip Series 2024

There's no better way to enjoy your "Ultimate Driving Machine" than to get out on the road. It's even better when you venture out with fellow club members. Summers in Minnesota are brief. Make plans to hit the road and join in the fun!

Brainerd Lakes Loop - Saturday, June 1, 2024 - 9:00 a.m. 

Time to head north to the land of Paul Bunyan, Beautiful Lakes and Brainerd International Raceway (BIR). The Brainerd Lakes region is a delightful part of the state that we just have to explore.  Our June 1 visit also coincides with our Club’s Sommer Schnell event going on May 31-June 2 at BIR. Are you curious about what that event is like?  Our group will swing by BIR to say hello to our fellow club members, take in the sights and sounds, and even have the chance to do a low speed guided “parade lap” around the track. Afterwards we’ll tour the lakes region and will dine at a local restaurant before heading home. Depending on the interest of those in the group, an ice cream stop and maybe a round of mini-golf may also be added to the itinerary.  

While at BIR, if you're really interested in learning more about what the Club does at Summer Schnell, we can also arrange for a free track ride along with one of our members. The drive departs from the Cub Foods Store in Rogers, MN at 9:00 a.m. The address is 13855 Rogers Drive. Please plan to arrive by 8:45 a.m. with your gas tank full. We'll have a round of introductions, review the route and hit the road.  We'll be taking back roads all the way to the Brainerd area.

Facebook users, please note that clicking "going" on Facebook is not the same thing as registering for this trip.  You need to complete the MotorsportReg  registration process to be actually registered. Must be a member of BMWCCA or a guest of a member.

Each participant needs to complete a separate registration so we have an accurate count of who's coming. This includes all drivers and passengers in your vehicle. All participants will need to sign a liability waiver form for the Club and a second liability waiver form when we arrive at BIR.
