<p>Instructor, staff, and student&nbsp;safety are&nbsp;top priorities&nbsp;in GGC programs. If GGC holds its annual fall track school at Thunderhill, it will look very different. To tackle the challenges of COVID-19, we&rsquo;re planning&nbsp;several&nbsp;changes, including:&nbsp;no in-car instruction, outdoor classrooms, contact-free&nbsp;check-ins and waivers, and other social distancing protocols.</p> <p>In-car instruction may be on hold for a bit. Even if you prefer to wait until 2021 before resuming instruction, please answer the questions about instruction methods.</p> <p>We&rsquo;d appreciate if you could take 2 minutes to share your feedback through the survey below.<br /> -------------------------------------------------------------------------</p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Highlights of the Current Risk Mitigation Plan</strong></p> <p>Driving instructors will use&nbsp;lead/follow instruction, with some data coaching.</p> <ul> <li>Lead/follow format for less experienced students will be 1-on-1</li> <li>Lead/follow format for A/B will have each instructor&nbsp;lead a small pack of students, until students are signed off for open lapping</li> <li>For&nbsp;A, B, &amp; S&nbsp;we&#39;ll expand the use of data-based coaching</li> </ul> <p>Prior to the event, web-based seminars&nbsp;will be available for both lead/follow instruction and data coaching.</p> <p>The classrooms will be open-air, underneath the shade structures in the paddock. For the data coaching classroom, plexiglass sneeze guards will be used to mitigate risk for coaches/students&nbsp;working together.</p> <p>Check-in protocols will be modified to eliminate passing paper/pens/helmets back and forth. The process will be electronic and contact-free.<br /> <br /> Face coverings will be mandatory.<br /> <br /> Anyone with recent symptoms or recent exposure to anyone with a confirmed diagnosis&nbsp;must&nbsp;skip the event.<br /> -------------------------------------------------------------------------</p>
